COYOTE BOATS

BORN ON THE RIVER
OUR ROOTS RUN DEEP, SHAPED BY DECADES OF RACING, BUILDING AND PUSHING BOUNDARIES.
Our founder, Rob Chrunyk, grew up immersed in jet boats. His father, Fred Chrunyk, was a pioneer who began designing and racing boats in the late 1960s and helped define an entire industry.
In 1973, Fred began racing under the name Coyote. His boats became icons on the circuit, driven by passion and precision. That legacy inspired Rob to continue the journey. By 1982, Rob was racing alongside his father, and at just 23, he became the youngest person to win the World Jet Boat Racing Championship.
We have carried that fire forward ever since.
After helping shape some of the most respected boat companies in Alberta, Rob brought everything full circle in 2016. Coyote Manufacturing Ltd. was created with a clear mission. We focus relentlessly on quality, performance, and innovation. We build boats that carry the spirit of competition and the freedom of the river into every ride.
Today, we build not only for racers, but for adventurers, workers, explorers, and everyday river runners. Our designs reflect decades of hard-won knowledge and experience on the water.
Still, we are not here to relive the past. We are here to shape the future.
We believe every boat should be better than the one before it. Stronger. Smarter. More capable. That belief drives our commitment to constant progress and bold ideas. There is no finish line for us. Only the next challenge, the next breakthrough, the next stretch of water waiting to be conquered.
In Western Canada and far beyond, the story of river boating continues. And we are proud to be leading the way.
